The Just in Time Career Fair provides an opportunity for employers who are still looking to fill hiring needs to meet and connect with students looking for full-time work in the immediate future. This fair will be a place where employers can connect with our upcoming University of Florida graduates who are still looking for that next step after college. All majors and degree levels are invited to attend.

This event is open to UF Students and Alumni only.

Registration and Payment

You may register up until the day of the event. The cost to attend the Just in Time Fair is $150.00 per table, per day. The cancellation deadline is March 27, 2019 and will guarantee inclusion in the event-day publications. March 27, 2019 is also the last day to cancel and receive a refund. Please check the pricing table for registration inclusions.

Register for the Just in Time Fair through Gator CareerLink. We accept credit cards (VISA, MasterCard or American Express) or checks. In the registration form, be sure to select your payment type as credit card or check.

Credit cards are not processed immediately; you will receive a paid invoice via email to confirm processing of your payment once our staff processes your credit card.

Make checks payable to “Univ. of Florida Career Connections Center” (TAX ID# 59-6002052). Include a printed copy of your invoice and send a check payment to:

To qualify for sales tax exemption, follow these steps:

Register online as outlined above; the invoice you view online after registering will include sales tax.

After registering, fax a copy of your FLORIDA Tax Exemption Certificate to the Career Connections Center at 352-392-5268. Include a copy of your invoice. If the name on the certificate differs from name on the registration, please note this on BOTH forms.

Once the FLORIDA Tax Exemption Certificate has been received, your invoice will be updated to reflect your tax-exempt status.

The Career Connections Center will notify you when the update to your invoice has been made.

Pay the amount on the updated invoice.

No registration can be processed as tax-exempt without a copy of the tax-exemption certificate from the STATE OF FLORIDA. Unfortunately, we cannot accept tax exemption certificates from other states. Any tax-exempt organization in a state other than Florida must apply with the State of Florida. This application can be found here. A copy of this application can be submitted in place of the tax exemption certificate until one is obtained.

March 27, 2019 is the cancellation deadline for this event. Cancellations received by this date will receive a full refund and will not be charged for canceling their event registration.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Career Connections Center. Please contact the Career Events staff at CCCFairs@ufsa.ufl.edu to cancel your registration.

 

No cancellations will be accepted after the deadline. Registered organizations who fail to show up at the event will still be charged for the event. Outstanding bills from previous events will prevent employers from the use of other services in the future.

The Day of

8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. – Check in at the Career Connections Center table | J. Wayne Reitz Union North Entrance
We will provide you with a complimentary lunch meal voucher to use at a dining location in the Reitz Union.
You will receive one parking pass via email in the days prior to the event to display in your vehicle’s dashboard. The parking pass is valid for the UF Welcome Center’s parking garage. You will be required and expected to park in the areas designated by the facility staff.

Parking on campus can be challenging. We recommend you arrive at the facility before 8 a.m. to avoid campus traffic and to confirm an appropriate space.

The Career Connections Center is not responsible for any parking violations that you receive while attending the event; it is your responsibility to verify valid parking areas with posted signs or an appropriate police or parking official.

Policies

Organizations that do not check in by 12 p.m. on the day of the event will be considered a “no show.” Registered organizations that fail to show up at the event will result in a charge for the event regardless if payment has been received by the Career Connections Center.

Display space at the Just in Time Fair is limited. Total floor space available per table is 7-9 feet wide and 6 feet deep. Please do not plan to bring furniture, large equipment or excessive amounts of give-away items. If you bring items that require more space than you reserved, you will be charged for additional tables.

Additionally, each organization is permitted three (3) representatives per table with up to one additional representative in excess of the per table total of four (4), for an additional charge. If your organization has more than this limit, you will be charged for an additional table, regardless of whether you actually use the additional table during the event.

Post Career Fair Events

If you are interested in hosting campus or virtual interviews after the fair on campus, you have the option to reserve following the Just in Time Fair.
