Summer Experience Fair - Career Connections Center

Looking to fill seasonal positions or internships? This fair is a great option. Hosted in the main entry way of the Reitz Student Union, this casual drop-in fair reaches a large breadth of students. Designed to help bring together hiring organizations and students looking for summer opportunities to gain income and/or work experience.

Registration

$150 (until January 2, 2024)
$175 (January 3rd – March 12th, 2024)
$200 (after March 12th, 2024)

Government/Non-Profit Fees:

$100 (until January 2, 2024)
$125 (January 3rd – March 12th, 2024)
$150 (after March 12th, 2024)

What's Included:

1 table (6’ x 30’’) and two chairs
2 representatives
Lunch vouchers for each representative
1 Parking pass
Wi-Fi

Extras:

Additional representatives: $30 each (max of 4 reps per booth)
Electrical Hookup: $25 (you must supply the extension cord)
Additional Parking Passes: $15 each

Payment Information

We accept credit cards (VISA, MasterCard or American Express) and checks. In the registration form, be sure to select your payment type as credit card or check. You will receive instructions to pay via credit once your registration is confirmed and you receive an invoice. Make checks payable to “Univ. of Florida Career Connections Center” (TAX ID# 59-6002052). Include a printed copy of your invoice and send check payment to: UF Career Connections Center Attention: Summer Experience Fair Registration PO Box 118507 Gainesville, FL 32611-8507 Tax Exempt Organizations: When you register as a nonprofit organization a member of our team will reach out to you to obtain a copy of your Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption from the IRS or any official government documentation stating that you are a verified tax-exempt entity, such as a government agency or a 501(c)(3) organization. If we do not receive the documentation within 2 weeks of our initial correspondence we will not be able to approve your registration as a nonprofit and will add 6.7% tax to the total registration cost.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations:

March 12, 2024 is the cancellation deadline for this event. Cancellations received by this date will receive a full refund and will not be charged for canceling their event registration.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Career Connections Center. Please contact Career Events Staff at CCCCareerFairs@ufsa.ufl.edu to cancel your registration.

No cancellations will be accepted after the deadline. Registered organizations who fail to show up at the event will still be charged for the event. Outstanding bills from previous events will prevent employers the use of other Career Connections Center services in the future.

No-Shows:

Organizations that do not check-in by 11 a.m. on the day of the event will be considered a “no show.” Registered organizations that fail to show up at the event will result in a charge for the event regardless if payment has been received by the Career Connections Center.
