Title: Gator Career Chat: Environmental Consulting and Corporate Sustainability

Description: Discover the diverse and impactful world of environmental consulting and corporate sustainability!

Hear from environmental consulting professionals who help organizations navigate environmental regulations, manage sustainability projects, and drive positive environmental change across industries. In this session we’ll also explore corporate sustainability roles that drive green initiatives within companies – from reducing waste and emissions to sourcing responsibly and innovating for a sustainable future. Learn about the skills, career paths, and day-to-day work in this field.

Whether you’re interested in architecture, sustainable design, construction, environmental consulting, or other related areas, this workshop will provide you with the chance to hear from alumni who have used these credentials to advance their careers and employers who prioritize the LEED and WELL knowledge when hiring.

Title: LEED and WELL Facility Tour and Talk

Description: Explore how sustainable design comes to life on campus in this interactive tour of LEED certified spaces led by Dustin Stephany, Sustainable Building Coordinator.

Join us at 10:30 AM for a guided tour of the inside and outside of Malachowsky Hall! Open to students of all majors, this engaging experience showcases cutting-edge green design elements, energy-efficient systems, and environmentally conscious construction practices.

The educational tour will be followed by a talk expanding upon sustainable design to include WELL certification features and the critical role of wellness in design.

Description: Ready to connect with others who share your passion for sustainability?
