Career Engagement Summit 2024
The Career Engagement Summit is a conference that allows recruiters to interact, connect, and engage with the University of Florida community and fellow recruiters. This conference addresses critical topics impacting college recruitment and fosters participant engagement in partnering with the flagship institution of the state of Florida for their talent needs. The Career Engagement Summit is the premier professional development event for employers and kicks off the upcoming recruiting season.
The 2024 theme is “Recruitment Reimagined: Waves of Change, Oceans of Opportunity.” This theme was chosen because waves of change are happening in the career landscape. These changes are driven by technological advancements, evolving student expectations, and the future of work, thus presenting recruiters with new challenges. However, within these waves of change lie oceans of opportunity. This year, this summit will serve as a platform for recruiters to navigate these changes and discover new possibilities for talent acquisition and engagement by delving into topics such as skills-based hiring, student-centered branding, innovation in recruitment, and more.
In addition to the great connections you can make at the summit, your attendance also allows a recruiter to earn continuing education credits from SHRM.
