About the Global Careers Virtual Fair:

The Global Careers Fair is a virtual event designed for domestic and international UF students and Alumni (all majors) to connect with employers for meaningful internships, part-time and full-time positions in a variety of roles using global competencies such as intercultural communication, global awareness, and language proficiency. If you are eager to gain global experience in the US or abroad, come be a part of this event, February 15, 2024 (9am-8pm est.) virtual on Gator Career Link.

Update your profile in Gator Career Link

Upload a copy of your resume for distribution online during the fair

Have your resume reviewed prior to the event. The C3 provides an Express Drop-In service (no appointment needed), weekdays between 1 p.m.– 4 p.m. for resume reviews, mock interviews, and more

Research the organizations before attending

Prepare questions to ask employers so you can see if an employer is a good fit with your values, abilities, and interests

Have a platform (notepad or phone app) to jot down notes of your conversations with recruiters to use during your follow-ups. Gator Career Link also has a notes feature for use after your video chat with an employer.

Come prepared knowing your availability for employment or internship, including start and end dates

Where would you be willing to relocate for work?
Does the field you are looking to work in require any special certifications?
