Are you interested in a career in healthcare but unsure about which area of healthcare would be a good fit for you? The Discover Your Career in Healthcare Conference will allow you to experience first-hand what it is like to be a healthcare professional in different fields through interactive workshops and authentic networking opportunities.

The Discover Your Career in Healthcare Conference is open to students (and alumni) from all majors, and is the perfect way to learn about current trends within healthcare and career options within the health and wellness field ranging from mental health to health education. Employers and UF professional programs will participate in panels, roundtable networking, and hands-on workshops related to their area of healthcare.

This event is for University of Florida students, faculty/staff, alumni, and invited employers only.

Day 1: Learn about your Options

Removing the Silos: Population and Patient Health 

4:00-5:30pm 

Program Directors of the Bachelor of Public Health and Bachelor of Health Science will address trends in healthcare and contrast the impacts of various health professions and public health careers on the individual and population levels. Students will be lead through an interactive case study, where you will learn how to assess a patient for individual health markers as well as population-level factors that influence health.
