The Career Connections Center offers University of Florida students with a range of experiential opportunities within every team of the department.

Career Ambassadors

Career Ambassadors serve as the initial liaison/point of contact between students and the C3. Ambassadors can experience all aspects of the Career Center’s student services and operations. The C3’s Ambassadors assist students with resumes, interviewing skills, job search strategies, and career knowledge; and facilitate outreach presentations. Additionally, our student employees assist with the C3’s lending closet and front desk, career events/programs, and participate in C3 marketing and branding. We can offer you a great work environment, committed to a culture of care, fun, and professionalism. We place emphasis on students developing the following competencies during their work experience: Communication, Critical Thinking, Teamwork, and Sense of Self. To see available part-time positions with the Career Connections Center, please visit jobs.ufl.edu.

Internships

The Career Connections Center is a developmental work environment for students hired for internship positions. Students work on projects that enhance and provide professional skill development while allowing students to maximize their strengths, grow in challenge areas, and discover new opportunities of interest. Interns have the opportunity to develop and hone professional competencies in areas of communication, research, collaboration, sales, event planning, and assessment. Additionally, interns have access to staff members and career planning support.

Practicum and/or Volunteer

Practicums offer students a unique opportunity to gain training and hands-on experience within a particular functional area. By completing a practicum in the Career Connections Center, the student will be able to understand and perform associated functions, identify transferable skills, and articulate the impact of their experiences on their career goals. To inquire about a practicum or volunteer experience, please contact the team member of your specific area of interest.
