Are you curious how to use the skills you learn in your major and apply them to whole different track? Come and learn tips from Gator alumni who have been in your shoes and want to help you leverage your skills successfully!

Alumni:

Danaan Nixon graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Anthropology in 2009. He has worked at leading companies like Amazon and Gartner as an Account Executive.  He currently works as an Account Executive for Smartsheet in Seattle, WA, helping empower companies for meaningful change.

Diana Saiz graduated from the University of Florida in 2008 with a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. She has worked for companies such as Marriott, Hard Rock International and the Peninsula Hotels. She transitioned to higher education in 2018 with the University of Florida and transitioned to non-profits in 2022. Diana currently works as a Development Manager at Forté Foundation, inspiring women to transform leadership in every field that business touches.

Mario Pietroluongo graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Sports Management in 2017. He is a Double Gator in Sports Management and worked as a Sales Executive for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs after graduation in 2018. He transitioned to higher education in 2021, and currently works as a Career Coach for Industry Engagement at the University of Florida where he maintains relationships with companies looking to hire Gators.
