Let’s help you make a good first impression as a professional by checking out this event designed to lean into everything you need to maximize your professional growth. Whether you are connecting with other UF student leaders who are navigating their career just like you or getting a tour of the Career Connections Center, by attending this event you can meet with a career coach to have your professional and involvement resume reviewed, participate in micro workshops on developing LinkedIn profiles and resumes, and even find an internship, research project, or co-curricular experience to align with your career goals.

This is the event to gain access to several of UF’s core career prep offerings that can help you obtain professional success.

Schedule of Events:

C3 Tours – Tour our space and learn how we intentionally break down the walls for students when it comes to creating career connections. Enjoy our student engagement areas for programming, interview rooms, nooks for study spaces or meetings, the Gator Career Closet, and more!

Tours will start at 10:45 AM, 11:45 AM, and 12:45 PM

Micro-Workshops: The C3 will offer 4 micro-workshops to help students get started with building connections, finding their career pathway, exploring their career options, and finding involvement opportunities at UF.

• 10:20 – The Gator Network – Exploring how to make connections in your Career (LinkedIn & Gator Network)
• 10:40 – Finding Your Career Pathway
• 12:20 – Exploring Your Career Options
• 12:40 – Involvement UF

Ways to Get Involved and Gain Experience: A Student Panel –

Unsure of what experiential learning opportunity is right for you? An internship? Research? Volunteering? Student organizations? This student panel will have 3-6 students who have participated in experiential learning and are here to share their experiences and advice with you. This event welcomes all UF students and alumni to learn from current Gators.

More information regarding the student panelists is to come. The event is in-person and virtual on Zoom on August 21st from 11-12 PM AND in-person at the C3 in the Innovations’ Room

Career Lab: There will be a lab setup throughout the event for you to stop by and complete CHOMP; activate your Gator CareerLink account, create or update your LinkedIn profile, sign-up for Gator Network, or have your resume reviewed using Quinncia. Please bring your laptop if you have one. If you do not have a laptop, the C3 will have some setup for you to use. There will be career coaches available to answer any questions.
