Gators, your brilliance is not meaningful if no one knows who you are! Stop making it hard to help you.

The purpose of networking is to form relationships with those who will help you get where you want to go. As you build up this network you will find that your connections are rooting for you because they have been in your shoes.

The earlier you start to build your network the better. You can start before you enter the workforce and after you start a job.

In this insightful session, alumna Jacynta Brewton will coach you on the skills you need to leverage your current network and build relationships that yield a positive ROI.

About the presenter: 

Jacynta BrewtonJacynta Brewnton ‘04, was previously the president of the UF Association of Black Alumni. Currently she is the regional advancement director for Metro Atlanta at Emory University and the chief operations officer for Emerge Woman Magazine.
