Sometimes it is also helpful to look at examples of what careers are out there, as well as industry information including salary, job tasks, educational requirements, and job descriptions.

Using the Career Connections Center
The Career Connections Center can support you in learning about yourself and career options in the following ways:
- Use our online tool, CHOMP. CHOMP consists of a series of engaging videos and activities that will help you explore majors, discover your interests, research career options and develop a personalized action plan.
- Apply to be a part of the Career Success Institute. CSI is a six-week career and leadership cohort program where you learn about your career potential from your strengths, skills, and interests.
- Visit the Majors and Minors Fair in the Spring semester to meet with representatives from different colleges and departments across campus.
- Attend a Career Conversation. Career Conversations are informal, small group conversations where you can connect to a career center staff member and other students who might have similar career-related questions.
- Check out your Career Community and explore customized tools and information about specific industries, colleges and communities. You can also get connected to your Embedded Liaison staff member.
- Talk it out in a Career Planning Appointment with a career center staff member.

- MyFloridaFuture is a free, online college and career planning tool that provides students, parents, and policymakers with a wealth of information to make better-informed decisions about educational options and future employment opportunities. This interactive tool allows users to explore data at the System level and by individual institution, including information on salary, graduate employment, student debt, and additional educational opportunities.
