Careers in Communication Fair: Employer Information

Employers hiring for jobs or internships in advertising, journalism, public relations, media production, management, and technology (formerly known as telecommunication at UF), and related communication industries can connect with students or recent grads during the Fall 2024 Careers in Communication Fair!
Cancellations and Changes to Registrations
Registration Fees
Government/Non-Profit Fees:
- $100 – until December 6, 2024
- $125 – December 7 to February 13, 2025
- $150 – after February 13
Corporate Fees
- $150 – Until December 6, 2024
- $175 – December 7 to February 13, 2025
- $200 – after February 13
Career Fair Registration Fee includes:
- 1 8-foot table and two chairs
- Up to 4 representatives are included (2 additional representatives may be added for $30 per Representative)
- Boxed lunch for each representative
- 1 Parking Pass per Table, parking is limited, carpooling is encouraged (additional Parking Passes may be purchased for $15 per pass)
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
- Online listing of your company and position information
- Access to the Resume book for all registered students
Career Fair Extras:
- Electrical Hookup: $25 per day (you must supply the extension cord)
- Shipping: $50
- Extra Representatives $30 each (includes meals and parking)
- Extra Parking Passes $15 each
Payment Information
We accept credit cards (VISA, MasterCard or American Express) and checks. In the registration form, be sure to select your payment type as credit card or check. You will receive instructions to pay via credit once your registration is confirmed and you receive an invoice.
Make checks payable to “Univ. of Florida Career Connections Center” (TAX ID# 59-6002052). Include a printed copy of your invoice and send check payment to:

Tax Exempt Organizations:
When you register as a nonprofit organization a member of our team will reach out to you to obtain a copy of your Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption from the IRS or any official government documentation stating that you are a verified tax-exempt entity, such as a government agency or a 501(c)(3) organization. If we do not receive the documentation within 2 weeks of our initial correspondence, we will not be able to approve your registration as a nonprofit and will add state of Florida tax to the total registration cost.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Career Events staff at the Career Connections Center via email to ccccareerfairs@ufsa.ufl.edu .
No cancellations will be accepted after the cancellation deadline of February 14, 2025.
No Shows: Registered organizations who fail to show up at the event will still be charged for the event. Outstanding bills from previous events will prevent employers’ use of other Career Connections Center services in the future.

Cancellations and Changes to Registrations
February 14, 2025, is the cancellation deadline for this event. Cancellations received on or before February 14, 2025, will receive a full refund and will not be charged for canceling their event registration.
