Careers in the Public Sector Fair - Career Connections Center

This career fair brings together public-facing industries to recruit students looking toward government and socially, civic, and/or politically centered occupations. With over 900 student organizations, UF graduates are actively engaged with their campus community and ready to bring those skills and experiences into the workforce.

Registration Fee

$100 (until November 29th, 2023)
$125 (November 30th 2023 – February 8th, 2024)
$150 (after February 8th, 2024)

Corporate Fees

$150 (until November 29th, 2023)
$175 (November 30th 2023 – February 8th, 2024)
$200 (after February 8th, 2024)

Registration includes:

Participation in the event
2 recruiters, plus 2 additional for $20 each
Online listing of your organization

Payment Information

We accept credit cards (VISA, MasterCard or American Express) and checks. In the registration form, be sure to select your payment type as credit card or check.

You will receive instructions to pay via credit once your registration is confirmed and you receive an invoice.

Make checks payable to “Univ. of Florida Career Connections Center” (TAX ID# 59-6002052). Include a printed copy of your invoice and send check payment to:

Tax Exempt Organizations:

When you register as a nonprofit organization a member of our team will reach out to you to obtain a copy of your Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption from the IRS or any official government documentation stating that you are a verified tax-exempt entity, such as a government agency or a 501(c)(3) organization. If we do not receive the documentation within 2 weeks of our initial correspondence we will not be able to approve your registration as a nonprofit and will add 6.7% tax to the total registration cost.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations:

Febaruay 8, 2024 is the cancellation deadline for this event. Cancellations received by this date will receive a full refund and will not be charged for cancelling their event registration.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Career Connections Center. Please contact Career Events Staff at CCCCareerFairs@ufsa.ufl.edu to cancel your registration.

No cancellations will be accepted after the deadline. Registered organizations who fail to show up at the event will still be charged for the event. Outstanding bills from previous events will prevent employers the use of other Career Connections Center services in the future.

No-Shows:

Organizations that do not check in by 11 a.m. on the day of the event will be considered a “no show.” Registered organizations that fail to show up at the event will result in a charge for the event regardless if payment has been received by the Career Connections Center.
