Faculty Majors and Minors Fair

Career Connections Center

Join Student Government and the Career Connections Center for their annual Majors & Minors Fair! This event is the perfect opportunity for the different UF Departments to talk to students about their majors and minors opportunities. Your attendance at this fair may help a student transition from an undeclared major to a major they know they will enjoy! There is no charge to attend this event.

Registration Fees:

Registration includes:

  • 1 table (6′ x 30″) and two chairs
  • X representatives
  • Electricity
  • Lunch vouchers for each representative
  • 1 Parking pass
  • Wi-Fi
  • Online listing of your school/program

Extras: 

  • Additional representatives: $30 each (max of 4 reps per booth)
  • Electrical Hookup: $25 (you must supply the extension cord)
  • Additional Parking Passes: $7 each
We accept credit cards (VISA, MasterCard or American Express) and checks. In the registration form, be sure to select your payment type as credit card or check.

You will receive instructions to pay via credit once your registration is confirmed and you receive an invoice.

Make checks payable to “Univ. of Florida Career Connections Center” (TAX ID# 59-6002052). Include a printed copy of your invoice and send check payment to:

Tax Exempt Organizations:

When you register as a nonprofit organization a member of our team will reach out to you to obtain a copy of your Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption from the IRS or any official government documentation stating that you are a verified tax-exempt entity, such as a government agency or a 501(c)(3) organization. If we do not receive the documentation within 2 weeks of our initial correspondence we will not be able to approve your registration as a nonprofit and will add 6.7% tax to the total registration cost.

Cancellations:

[Date] is the cancellation deadline for this event. Cancellations received by this date will receive a full refund and will not be charged for cancelling their event registration.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Career Connections Center. Please contact Career Events Staff at CCCCareerFairs@ufsa.ufl.edu to cancel your registration.

No cancellations will be accepted after the deadline. Registered organizations who fail to show up at the event will still be charged for the event. Outstanding bills from previous events will prevent employers the use of other Career Connections Center services in the future.

No-Shows:

Organizations that do not check in by 11 a.m. on the day of the event will be considered a “no show.” Registered organizations that fail to show up at the event will result in a charge for the event regardless if payment has been received by the Career Connections Center.

Rather than carry your materials, ship them to us. You can ship materials starting two weeks prior to the event. Materials received on the day(s) of the event will not be immediately available.

Bring your tracking number(s)with you to the event! In the event your packages are not at your booth upon arrival, we will need your number to locate your items.

Shipping from the event:

Unfortunately, we cannot assist you with shipping post event. Please be prepared to manage any shipping matters on your own.
