The University of Florida’s signature career event, Career Showcase, is coming up the week of September 23rd - September 25th. Career Showcase is the largest campus career fair in the Southeast and a tremendous opportunity for students to advance their careers.

Hosted by the Career Connections Center, Career Showcase that provides opportunities for students to explore internships, part- and full-time jobs, and co-ops in fields such as healthcare, communications, research, accounting, engineering, sales, computer science, retail, and more.

We want you to be a part of Career Showcase! Here are ways you can support this UF tradition:

  • Offer students flexibility around class schedules and encourage them to attend Career Showcase and the related events happening during Career Showcase Week
  • Promote student readiness by encouraging them to attend Career Showcase Prep Events
    • Express Drop-In or Express Drop-In Plus
      • Regular Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
        • Monday, Wednesday, Friday – In-person at the Career Connections Center, Reitz Union Level 1
        • Tuesday and Thursday – Virtual on Zoom
      • Prepare for Career Showcase workshops
        • TBA

Computer & Information Science & Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Day, Monday, September 23rd, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The 2024 University of Florida Computer & Information Science & Engineer and AI Fair is hosted specifically for companies who are hiring students and alumni with experience in computer science, computer engineering, digital arts and sciences, data science, cybersecurity and AI/machine learning.

Non-Technical Day, Tuesday, September 24th, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Featuring opportunities in accounting, management, sales, government, finance, hospitality, healthcare, communications, marketing, social services, and other non-technical professions.

Technical Day, Wednesday, September 25th, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Featuring opportunities in engineering, information technology, research & development, architecture, programming, construction, biomedical, manufacturing and other technical professions.

OPPORTUNITY MEET-UP

September 24, 2024
5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Grand Ballroom, Reitz Union

The Opportunity Meet-Up is a networking event with a fluid atmosphere, without the boundaries of the career fair, with the flexibility for students, alumni and employers to connect in a relaxed environment for jobs, internships and more. This is a premier opportunity to showcase the array of talent available at the University of Florida.

Career Week Interviews

In the days after Career Showcase, over 2,000 students interview on campus and virtually with hundreds of organizations. Interviews are scheduled by employers, with students invited to participate, and are hosted either in the O’Connell Center or Career Connections Center.
