Career Showcase

Stephen C. O’Connell Center and Virtually on Career Fair Plus
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Career Showcase is the University of Florida’s largest career fair, spanning four days of virtual and in-person networking with hundreds of top employers from all over the U.S. interested in recruiting UF students from all majors.

Hosted by the Career Connections Center, Career Showcase provides opportunities for students to explore internships, part- and full-time jobs, and co-ops in fields such as accounting, engineering, healthcare, communications, research, sales, computer science, retail, and more.
Faculty and staff can assist students prepare for Career Showcase (and other career fairs) by:

  • Sharing dates, times, and other information about the event. More information for students can be found here.
  • Encouraging younger students to attend so they become familiar with the setting and prepared when they are ready to search for jobs and internships.
  • Advising students to research employers they are interested in networking with.
  • Encouraging students to create a profile in Gator CareerLink and uploading a resume for employers to view.
  • Encouraging students to download the Career Fair Plus app to sign up for appointments with participating employers.
  • Helping students prepare their resumes and encouraging them to attend Project Resume to get their resume reviewed by certified career coaches.

September 28: Non-Technical
Features career paths for students focused on accounting, management, sales, government, finance, hospitality, healthcare, communications, marketing, social services, and other non-technical professions.

September 29: Technical
Features career paths for students focused on engineering, information technology, research & development, architecture, programming, construction, biomedical, manufacturing, and other technical professions.

Virtual Event

Features career paths for students focused on engineering, information technology, research and development, architecture, programming, construction, biomedical, manufacturing, and other technical professions.

Students can log-in from anywhere for the Virtual Career Showcase through the Career Fair Plus app. They may begin signing up for appointments on September 13th and will receive information before the event starts with instructions to log in for their meeting. MATERIALS SCIENCE AND NUCLEAR ENGINEERING CAREER FAIR


Virtual: September 30, 2021 from 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Career Fair Plus

The 2021 University of Florida Material Science and Nuclear Engineering Career Fair is scheduled to be held virtually for MSE.NE students and alumni to meet employers on Thursday, September 30 from 9 am to 12 pm. The MSE.NE Career Fair will be held in conjunction with UF Career Showcase.

AGRICULTURAL AND BIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING CAREER FAIR


In Person: September 29, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Virtual: September 30, 2021 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Career Fair Plus

The 2021 University of Florida Agricultural and Biological Engineering Career Fair is scheduled to be held in person and virtually for ABE students and alumni to meet employers. The ABE Career Fair will be held in conjunction with UF Career Showcase. The in-person ABE event will be held in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on the UF campus in Gainesville on Wednesday, September 29 from 12:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST. The virtual ABE event will be held on Thursday, September 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
